Six-year-old child left with "serious" injuries after crash near Ripon
The child was airlifted to hospital this morning
A six-year-old child has been left in hospital with "serious leg injuries" following a crash near Ripon.
Police were called to a school in the village of Grantley at around 08:50am on Tuesday morning (June 13).
A six-year-old child was airlifted to James Cook Hospital for treatment a short time later.
Officers said a blue Hyundai was involved in the crash and they are now working with the driver as part of their investigations.
North Yorkshire Police want to speak to any witnesses.
