Body of woman discovered in York
Police are currently at the scene near the Marriott Hotel on Tadcaster Road
Emergency Service are currently at the scene of an incident near the Marriott Hotel on Tadcaster Road in York.
The body of a woman was discovered near the hotel on the Knavesmire at 7.40am today (6 May 2021)
Her death is currently being treated as unexplained and officers at the scene are working to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
Police enquiries are in the early stages and we will provide more information when we are able.
