Body found in search for missing man from York at Tang Hall Beck

Police have confirmed that a body has been found in the search for missing man from York.

While formal identification hasn't taken place yet, it's believed the body recovered from Tang Hall beck is that of Ronald Snowdon who was reported missing yesterday (27th December).

Officers say the family of the 83-year-old have been informed and that they dont believe there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

A report will now be prepared for HM Coroner.
