Woman dies in head-on collision between bus and car in North Yorkshire

A woman has died in a head-on collision between a bus and a car in North Yorkshire.
Police were called to reports of a crash at around 14:25BST on the A63 between Monk Fryston and Hambleton on Wednesday (September 20).
The family of the 55-year-old have been informed, and the driver of the bus is helping police with their enquiries.
The road was closed for several hours while initial investigations took place.
Officers are asking to speak to any witnesses, and want to hear from anyone with dashcam footage.
