Two men from Wigan are accused of stealing alcohol from Booths stores

Lancashire Police have charged two men with high-value thefts from Booths supermarkets in Lancashire.

Officers were called to the Booths store on Berry Lane, Longridge, at 12.57pm on 9th January, to a report that ÂŁ1,000 worth of champagne and spirits had been stolen.

At 1.21pm, Police stopped a car on Common Edge Road, Blackpool, and arrested two men, aged 30 and 27.

Today (10th January), Eduard Cristea, 27, and Lulian Bucur, 30, both of Warrington Road, Ince, Wigan, were both charged with four offences of theft.

The charges relate to thefts from Booths in Longridge, Penwortham, Longton and Fulwood.
