Two people have been taken to hospital after a stabbing at Wigan Interchange last night (10 September).

Emergency services were called at around 5:20pm and found a 42-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy with serious injuries.

Police say the pair are in hospital but their conditions are not life-threatening.

A teenage girl has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and is being questioned in custody.

Superintendent Danny O’Neil says a police cordon is in place while enquiries continue.

Officers are reviewing CCTV and speaking to witnesses and anyone who saw what happened is urged to get in touch.
