The campaign was officially launched at the ground and was attended by Jenny Welsby, Saints Community Development Foundation and former player; Alan Smithies, Merseyside Crimestoppers; Insp. 20,000 rugby-themed postcards will be distributed to homes in St Helens about the partnership, and a social media campaign featuring many of the club’s star players begins today.

Paul Wellens, Saints player, said "Everyone can play their part in making St Helens safer by joining the Saints Foundation campaign with Crimestoppers. Reporting to Crimestoppers is 100% anonymous and is a simple way for you to tackle crime.”

David Fairclough, Liverpool Legend, Saints Fan and Crimestoppers Volunteer, said; “I have been involved with Crimestoppers for over 10 years and I have seen the real difference that the anonymous information that we receive has made in reducing crime. I am delighted that we are working with the ‘Saints’ to make a real difference”.
