Murder charge over death of St Helens man in 2023

Detectives investigating the death of Philip Quinn in St Helens in 2023 have charged a man with murder.

Philip, 54, sadly died in hospital on Wednesday 23 August 2023 after he was assaulted in the early hours of Tuesday 22 August 2023 in Brookhouse Grove, Eccleston.

David Lyons, 43, of Brookhouse Grove, Eccleston, has now been charged with Murder. Lyons will next appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court on Thursday 6 February.
