Today's match between FC Halifax Town and Solihull Moors has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.

Following a pitch inspection this morning, the pitch was deemed 'unplayable'.

FC Halifax Town released this statement following the cancellation:

"FC Halifax Town have announced following this morning’s pitch inspection, the pitch has been deemed unplayable despite the pitch covers being in operation all week. Our game against Solihull Moors will now be rescheduled and information will follow in due course."

Solihull Moors FC also confirmed the cancellation via Twitter

The cancellation comes due to the weather as a yellow warning for snow and ice occupies large parts of the country.

Many other matches have been cancelled today across the country.
