Yellow heat health alert for Yorkshire as temperatures to rise again this weekend
We're expecting warm and sunny weather over the weekend and into next week
A yellow heat health alert has been issued to the Yorkshire for this weekend, as temperatures are expected to soar once again.
The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) issued the warning from 12pm tomorrow (July 27) until 6pm on Tuesday (July 1).
Temperatures across Yorkshire will be in the mid to high 20s over the weekend, peaking at close to 30C on Monday (June 30)
An more serious amber alert is in place for North Derbyshire where "significant impacts" are possible across health and social services due to the heat.
The UKHSA has also warned of a rise in deaths among over-65s or in those with health conditions.
