Whites Back In Action At Derby

Can Leeds do better than Boxing Day on visit to Rams?

Leeds United are back in action tonight, with the second of their festive fixtures - and they'll be hoping it's a better result than Boxing Day. The Whites were whitewashed by Wigan 2-nil at home three days ago. Tonight they're at Derby County - a side who they've already beaten this season at Elland Road - but that'll count for nothing according to United skipper Steven Warnock, "it gives you a little bit of confidence to know that they are beatable and we know what their weaknesses are. We tried to exploit them last time and we did it. The gameplan worked well, but it's a different game away from home. Our away form hasn't been great going into it, but we can't think about that, we've got to be as positive as possible and try and get a result." But he does believe the fact that the Rams lost earlier in the season at Elland Road could have a bearing on the game tonight, "I don't think they'll just be thinking about that, they'll be wanting to get in the top 2 and trying to get automatic promotion. They won't be looking at it as 'we want revenge', they'll be just thinking 'we want to climb that league and get out of this league'. "As long as we're solid, it'll be a different type of set-up, a different type of playing, possibly that we've looked-at away from home. But we'll be confident, don't worry about that."
