A West Yorkshire Police officer has been found not guilty of assault following a trial.

PC Denis Kadric, a 34-year-old officer based in Bradford District, was acquitted at York Crown Court on Friday (November 28).

The charge related to an incident alleged to have happened while he was on-duty.

He has remained suspended from duty throughout legal proceedings, although disciplinary action against him will now be reviewed.
