West Yorkshire Police investigate shooting in Leeds
A man has been left with serious injures following the incident on Thursday
Police are appealing for witnesses after a suspected firearms discharge in Elland in Leeds which resulted in a man suffering serious injuries.
The incident happened on Park Road, close to Valley Mills, in Elland at around 8:40pm on Thursday night.
A man, and the vehicle he was in, are believed to have been shot at by someone in another vehicle. He then drove himself to hospital where he was treated for shotgun pellet and knife injures that are not believed to be life threatening.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
