Yesterday (12th July) Boris Johnson confirmed that England will move to step four of the roadmap on the 19th July.

The health secretary described the move as a 'a major milestone for this country'; it will see social distancing and limits on social contact removed, as well as the re-opening of all remaining businesses like nightclubs.

They'll be no legal requirement to wear masks in shops or on public transport, but the government is recommending that people continue to wear them in crowded places.

Simon Jackson is from Acapulco Nightclub in Halifax, he said:

"You can see people are desperate to get out, I'm expecting good times ahead.

"Not only are we open on the Monday night, we are open the Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, we are doing the whole week to level it out, instead of cramming everyone in on one night.

"A lot of people are looking forward to it, I think it will do people good to get out and enjoy themselves again."
