Police have released images of a masked man they're trying to trace after a string of attempted robberies in Horsforth, Leeds.

He first threatened staff at a Subway on New Road Side at around 8pm on December 12.

He pushed a female member of staff before punching a delivery driver, but left the scene without taking anything.

The same suspect later appeared at the Morrisons Daily, in Broadgate Lane, attempting to climb over the counter while shouting "this is a robbery".

He was blocked from entering a storeroom and left the store without taking anything.

A woman outside the store was then approached, with the man demanding her car keys.

He made an attempt to snatch them but failed, before running off up Broadgate Lane towards Town Street.

He was described as white and about 25 years old and was wearing a black puffer coat, black trousers, black balaclava and black gloves.

He was carrying a large black cross-body bag.

Anyone with information is being urged to contact West Yorkshire Police on 101.
