The train line between Ilkley and Guiseley has now reopened.

It was closed earlier, after a suspected "bomb" near Ilkley station.

A British Transport Police spokesperson said (at 11am): "Officers were called to the line in Ilkley at 9.56am this morning following reports of a mortar shell having been discovered.

"A cordon is currently in place while specialist officers attend."

Train routes were replaced by buses, although the route is now reopened.

Disruption is likely to not last much longer at all.
