Wakefield Trinity have secured the services of winger Neil Tchamambe for a further two years, as he's signed a deal to remain with the Super League side until the end of 2027.

The 20 year old initially headed to Belle Vue from Hull KR after being swapped for Noah Booth.

Trinity claim to have resisted interest from other top flight rugby league clubs to keep Tchamambe in Wakefield.

He made his first appearance for Trinity in a reserves game last week. He also plays for League 1 side Goole Vikings.

Neil Tchamambe said: “It’s been great joining the club so far and to know that I’ll be staying longer is just brilliant."

"The players and coaches have been welcoming with my arrival and to be around this environment for much longer is exciting.”
