After leading for much of the season Wakefield Trinity aim to be crowned Championship champions in rugby league today.

Victory over Toulouse may secure a Super League spot next year, but with the league revamp it is not guaranteed.

Instead the club will wait until Wednesday to find out if they are promoted.

Today's Grand Final is the last one after ten years at Trinity for captain Matty Ashurst. He told us: "It would be the perfect send off for me, obviously after being here for so long.

"To win and to win three trophies in my testimonial year, as a way to sign out as the captain of the club would be a fairy tale ending. So, yeah it would mean a lot to me, and I know it would mean a lot to everyone else involved in the club.

Wakefield finished top of the league, and French side Toulouse, finished second.

Kick off is at 7 pm.
