Wakefield-born Jane McDonald's husband dies aged 67

Wakefield's Jane McDonald has confirmed that her long-term partner has died aged 67.

In a post on Twitter, The Loose Women star said Ed Rothe, who was a drummer in 60s band The Searchers, had been battling lung cancer and died on 26 March.

She also thanked the staff at The Wakefield Hospice.
