A closing ceremony took place this morning (Thursday 27 April) as the Knife Angel departs Bradford.

The Knife Angel is made out of 100,000 knives that have been collected by police forces, from amnesty bins and knife sweeps.

The event organisers said the event this morning served "as a chance to reflect on the Knife Angel’s message of anti-violence and how we can continue to spread that message once the monument moves onto its next destination."

Tonight at 7.30 pm, victims have been invited affected by violent crime of all kings to gather for a time of reflection.

It's taking place at Bradford Cathedral, they said: "Whether you have experienced violent crime personally or have lost loved ones to it you are welcome to come and grieve and stand with others in hope of an end to this scourge in our city."

The Knife Angel is heading to Crewe in Cheshire.
