Two men charged over reported machete attack at Wakefield pub

It's believed they walked in with a large knife

Two men have been charged following reports of two people walking into a pub in Wakefield with a machete.

It is believed to have happened at the Swan with Two Necks on Westgate, at around 10pm on Saturday (January 06).

22-year-old Haroon Khan, from Plumpton Road, and Mohammed Khan, 19, of Plumpton Street have been charged with attempting to cause grievous bodily harm and affray.

Haroon Khan has also been charged with public order offences, one of which was racially aggravated.

Police are asking to speak to any witnesses.
