Two Leeds Men Charged With Murder

Two Leeds men have appeared in court charged with murder and robbery in the city. The pair were up before magistrates yesterday (Sat 14th Feb) over the death of Andrew Gordon at Gipton Wednesday (11th Feb). A post-mortem revealed that the 48 year old has suffered trauma injuries and had not died of natural causes, he’d been found at his flat on Briarsdale Heights at Gipton by paramedics. The two men charged over his killing are a 45 year old also from Gipton and a 30 year old from Beeston, the paid will next appear at Leeds Crown Court on Tuesday. Senior Investigating Officer DCI Elizabeth Belton, said: "We are continuing to appeal for witnesses to this offence and I would ask anyone who has information to contact the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team"
