Tributes paid to woman found dead in bushes in Leeds

The family of a woman who was found dead in bushes near to Leeds last week have paid tribute to her, after she was named by police.

The body of Theresa Jordan, known as Terri, was discovered in Kimberley Road last Thursday, and her death is being treated as unexplained.

Her family said: “Beloved daughter, mother and sister who will be sadly missed. Gone but not forgotten.

"We will see you again, this is not where it ends. We will carry you with us until we see you again. Rest in peace.”

Police ask to speak to any witnesses

Police investigating Ms. Jordan's death have asked for any witnesses to come forward, and have released CCTV stills from her last known appearance.

Detective Superintendent Sarah Jones, of the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team, said: “The last confirmed sighting of Terri was on the 11/06/22 and we are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen her after the 11th or has any information in respect of what she was doing after this time.

“We are also keen to speak to anyone who has been in the Kimberley Road area and witnessed anything suspicious or has information which may help with our investigation.”
