Three people have been arrested following reports of a fight involving machetes sparked by a car crash in Leeds.

Emergency services were called to Gledhow Lane at around 22:21 on Tuesday night (March 05).

It's believed the fight broke out at a Seat Leon and a Toyota Yaris crashed at the junction with Geldhow Valley Road.

Three men, two aged 24 and one 30, were arrested and taken to hospital for "non-life threatening injuries", police said.

It's believed one of the cars had been involved in a crash with a Ford Focus a short time earlier, on Gledhow Lane.

Detectives are asking to speak to any witnesses.
