A third person has been arrested after a Leeds United fan was reportedly punched outside Norwich City's ground on Sunday (May 12).

A man - who police said is in his late teens - was arrested on suspicion of assault and a public order offence on Monday (May 13).

Police also said the Leeds fan suffered a cut to his chin thought to be caused by a drinks can being thrown at him.

The man arrested on Monday was questioned and released on bail.

It comes after police charged a man in his 50s with an assault on an emergency worker, common assault and possession of Class A drugs.

A teenager has also been released on bail.

On Monday, Leeds United released a statement, which said: "Leeds United condemn any violence at football matches, which has no place in the game.

"The club would like to thank the emergency services for their quick response to the supporter and the swift action taken following the incident."
