Two teenagers charged after gun fired at car in Leeds

It follows a reported assault on Regent Street earlier this month

Two teenagers have been charged with firearms offences after a car was shot at in Leeds city centre.

Police were called to reports of a crash and an assault on a man in Regent Street on Thursday 21 March.

Mohammed Suliman Yousaf, 19, of Sowood Street in Burley has been charged with wounding with intent, possession of a bladed article and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

A 17-year-old male, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with wounding with intent, possession of a bladed article, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, possession of a firearm and possession of ammunition for a firearm without a certificate.

Both are expected to appear in court on March 28.
