Teenager suffers serious injuries following an assault in Bradford
The victim was taken to hospital with injuries to his hand
Officers in Bradford are appealing for information after a teenager has suffered serious injuries following an assault.
It is reported that around 8.10pm on Tuesday (8 February), a group of around eight unknown males began chasing a 16-year-old-boy in Ramsden Avenue, Bradford.
They are described as wearing black clothing and balaclavas. One person is described as wearing a fur hooded top.
The group caught up with the male and began assaulting him. One suspect then assaults the victim with what is believed to be an axe, before they were disturbed by a member of the public and they all make off on foot.
The victim was taken to hospital with injuries to his hand.
Officers are appealing for information to try and identify the individuals, who may be able to assist with enquiries.
