Teenager seriously injured after collision in Leeds

A 19-year-old is in hospital with non-life threatening injuries

Police say a teenager has been seriously injured after a collision near to the Westgate Tunnel in Leeds city centre.

Officers were called shortly after 11pm last night (21 August) to a report that a grey Toyota Aygo had collided with a wall on the A58(M) Inner Ring Road, heading away from the Armley Gyratory.

A 19-year-old woman, who was the driver, suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries and remains in hospital.
