Suspicious package found at Leeds Bradford airport
Police were called to the airport at 7.30pm on Saturday night
West Yorkshire Police have been called in to investigate a potential suspicious package at Leeds Bradford airport.
An alarm was raised just after 7.30pm on Saturday night (21 October).
The bag was investigated but it was deemed to be just lost luggage.
West Yorkshire Police statement in full:
'Police were called to Leeds Bradford Airport at 7.34pm following the discovery of a potential suspicious package outside buildings there.
'The bag was investigated and determined to be non-suspicious and simply lost luggage.
'Airport operations were not affected by the incident.'
