Radio Aire has had a sneak peek at the new Emmerdale Studio Tour- and we can confirm fans will love it!
It opens to the public on the 3rd September on Burley Road, where visitors can pop into Beauty and Bernice, The Dingles' house and stop for a pint in The Woolpack.
"We've had to recreate settees and furniture, we've had buyers scouring car boot sales and charity shops just to find things that you can also see on the sets"
Visitors will enjoy an 80 minute tour of the site, with guides that have had to swot up on over 44 years of the soap's history. Leanne Young is one of those who's been learning her script for the past month: "We've had to learn all about the characters and all about the histories... all the family trees and everything.
"We've gone back to the first ever episode as well- we've watched that over and over again!
"We've had to know as well all about cameras and all about the editing side of it, which is really interesting."
Aside from the elaborate set peices, visitors can also try out some of the technical aspects.
Guests can also get a souvenir picture pulling a pint behind the bar at The Woolpack.
