Danny Röhl replaces Xisco Munoz

Sheffield Wednesday have appointed Danny Rohl as the club's new manager.

The German, who becomes the youngest coach in the EFL at 34, takes over from Xisco Munoz with the club bottom of the Championship.

Rohl has previously worked as assistant to Ralph Hasenhuttl at RB Leipzig and Southampton, and worked under Hansi Flick at Bayern and with the German national team.

He's the the Owls' 11th permanent manager in the last 12 years.

Wednesday were held to a 0-0 home draw against Huddersfield last week and remain winless after 11 matches.

His first game in charge will be away at Watford a week tomorrow.
