Appeal after woman sexually assaulted at Leeds station

Police are investigating after a woman was sexually assaulted at Leeds train station.

It's alleged to have happened at 6.40pm on Thursday 12 January, when she was waiting at a platform.

A man got off a train and started to ask her inappropriate questions.

He then subjected the woman to a prolonged sexual assault.

She moved away from the man, and he was last seen boarding a train to Edinburgh.

British Transport Police are now investigating, and believe a member of the public may have seen something.
