Serious multi-vehicle crash on A1M in West Yorkshire near Wetherby

There has been a serious multi-vehicle collision on the A1M in West Yorkshire.

Police say they have closed the road northbound within Junction 45 in Wetherby and the southbound carriageway between Junction 46 and Junction 45 whilst an Air Ambulance is on scene.

Drivers are being warned of delays in both directions.

Police were called shortly after 9.30am today to the three-vehicle collision.

UPDATE: The road northbound is now fully re-opened.
