Scunthorpe United vs Bradford City CANCELLED
It's because of a frozen pitch
Bradford City and Scunthorpe United's league two clash has been postponed because of a frozen pitch.
A pitch inspection was carried out in Scunthorpe just before Saturday lunchtime, when the decision was made to call the match off.
Areas of the playing surface remained frozen following sub-zero temperatures overnight, with temperatures not expected to rise above 2 degrees this afternoon.
Scunthorpe United manager Neil Cox said: "We're disappointed because the groundstaff and other staff have worked really hard to get the covers on, but it was really cold last night and the far end (in front of the AMS Stand) isn't playable at all so the referee has made the decision.
"The focus is now on getting ready for Tuesday night against Salford City. We'll see if we can get some kind of training into the lads today, on a 3G pitch if we can."
The fixture will be rearranged, with match streaming passes applying for the new date.
