Appeal launched after Kirklees crash leaves four in hospital

A 19 year old man has suffered a potentially life changing injury after a crash in Kirklees last month.

It happened at around 6:40pm on August 20 on New Hey Road in Scammonden, with a silver and pink Ford Cougar and a black Volkswagen Golf colliding head on.

A driver and a passenger from each vehicle were taken to hospital, with all since dicharged.

Roads policing officers have launched an appeal for witnesses and dashcam footage, with anyone with information being urged to get in touch on 101.
