Leeds City Council is urging people to be aware of a car parking scam.

QR codes are being put on parking meters and signs around the city.

Drivers are being told not scan them.

The council say they will not ask you to use a QR code to pay for parking.

People are being asked to report fraudulent signs to the police via 101.
