A man has been charged with possessing a samurai sword by police investigating a spate of robberies in Leeds.

Two shops and a Post Office were targeted in December, and it's believed cash and cigarettes were stolen.

Now, a 23-year-old man has been charged in connection with the robberies, and possession of a weapon.

Police also say a 21-year-old man has been remanded in custody after appearing in court earlier this month.

Detectives are continuing to investigate the robberies, and are trying to identify other suspects who may have been involved.
