The RNLI is expecting a staggering 30 million people to head to the coast this summer and they're urging people from non-coastal areas, like West Yorkshire to stay safe.

That's double the amount of people who visit the beach last year, at 15 million.

Gabbi Simmons from there said:

"We do find a lot of people who get in to trouble at the coast, are those who aren't used to the environment. Someone might have travelled down from the middle of the country to a nice beach for the weekend, we just ask people to learn about the environment before heading down.

"If people get in to trouble in the water, we are urging them to float to live. That's that process where you lay back in the water, you relax, you stick your arms out in a sort of starfish position and you resit that urge to just thrash."
