Rhinos Aim For Return To Top

Leeds get the chance to go back to the top of Super League this afternoon when they play the first of two matches in six days against Hull. The teams clash in the league at Headingley and then in the quarter-finals of the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup at the KC Stadium on Friday. Hull have been on a successful run since a humbling 43-12 home defeat by the Rhinos in March while Brian McDermott's men failed to kick on from that memorable success, winning just two of their last seven league games. The Rhinos, who have won their last eight home meetings with Hull going back to 2007, expect to have full-back Zak Hardaker returning from a two-match absence with ankle trouble while McDermott will give late fitness tests to centre Joel Moon and second rower Brett Delaney after they also missed the last two games through injury.
