Woman assaulted during attempted dog theft in Bradford

Police are investigating reports that a woman in her 30's was punched and kicked in her face and ribs, and asked to hand over her dog in Wibsey Park in Bradford.

It's been reported that she was near the Becon Road entrance to the park, when she was approached from behind by three men.

One of the male suspects shouted at her to hand over her dog, she then leant down to protect her dog.

She was then allegedly assaulted by one of the suspects who kicked and punched her in the ribs and face.

The victim managed to get away and run home and suffered a lot of bruising.
