A wagon has become uncoupled from a freight train which has caused disruption to all services between Stalybridge and Huddersfield.
The following alterations apply:
•Buses are running Manchester towards Leeds
•Trains are running from Huddersfield towards Manchester
•Some services from Manchester towards Huddersfield / Leeds will be diverted and not call at Stalybridge or Huddersfield
Alternative travel options:
•Northern passengers may use Metrolink between Ashton-under-Lyne and Manchester
•TransPennine passengers at Manchester Piccadilly travelling to Huddersfield can travel via Sheffield. Passengers at Manchester Piccadilly travelling to Leeds can travel via Doncaster.
•TransPennine passengers may use East Midlands Trains between Sheffield and Manchester Piccadilly
•TransPennine passengers may use CrossCountry between Leeds and Newcastle
