Police search for man after 16-year-old boy attacked with knife in Leeds city centre

Police investigating a knife attack on a 16-year-old boy in Leeds city centre have released images of a man they are looking for.

The attack happened in Mabgate at around 11:15BST on Thursday 22 February, while the boy was walking with friends.
Officers said they saw a man acting "erratically" around the Regent Street underpass, before he shouted abuse at one of the boys, and ended up in an altercation with him.
Another boy intervened and was slashed with a knife, before being taken to hospital, where he needed stitches.
The incident is being treated as grevious bodily harm and police are looking for a man seen in the image above.
Anyone who recognises him is asked to get in touch with West Yorkshire Police.
