Pedestrian killed in crash involving motorbike in Leeds named

A man who died after being hit by a motorbike in Leeds has been named as 65 year old Kenneth 'Kenny' Smith.

Kenny was walking along Great George Street at the time he was hit by the blue Voge bike, just before 3pm on Monday (December 16).

The rider, a 26 year old man, suffered facial injuries and has since been questioned on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

Police have been combing CCTV footage taken in the area at the time and are urging anyone who saw what happened to get in touch on 101.
