Five arrested as murder investigation launched in Ossett

Police have launched a murder investigation after a man died in Ossett.

Officers were called to an address on Parkfield View at 8:38pm yesterday evening, following reports a man had been stabbed.

A 41-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A cordon is still in place in the area whilst forensic enquiries are carried out.

Five people, three men and two women, have been arrested in connection with the incident and remain in police custody.
