A woman in her 90s is in hospital after a crash involving a van and a mobility scooter in Normanton earlier today.

Police were called to Castleford Road, close to the Black Swan pub, at 2:06pm.

Officers spoke to the van driver at the scene.

An investigation is ongoing and witnesses are being urged to contact West Yorkshire Police on 101.
