A teenager who went missing with her sister in Batley has reportedly been seen in Dewsbury after more than four years.

Szimonetta and Bernadett Berki disappeared from the Chapel Fold area on the 6th March 2018.

Police believe Bernadett has now been spotted on CCTV footage on Halifax Road in Dewsbury, at around 22:00 on the 23rd March 2022.

Officers think the sisters- who are now 15 and 16- were taken by extended family members, or members of the Hungarian community.

Detective Chief Inspector Alex Bacon of Kirklees District Police said: “It has now been a considerable amount of time since they were first reported missing and we would like to use this recent sighting to again appeal for information to help locate them."

“Even if they have been sheltered by friends or family it is of real importance that we and partners can establish that they have appropriate support in place."
