Huddersfield Town announced former Barnsley boss Michael Duff as new head coach
It follows the departure of Andre Brietenreiter
Huddersfield Town have confirmed former Barnsley manager Michael Duff as their new head coach, following their relegation from the Championship.
The 46-year-old joins on a three year deal replacing Andre Brietenrieter, who left the club last Friday (May 10).
Duff recently managed Championship side Swansea City, but left in December 2023, after just six months in charge.
Before that, Duff was in charge of Barnsley, taking them to the League One play-off final in the 2022/23 season.
Huddersfield Town Chairman Kevin Nagle commented: “Preparation for the new season is critical, and we are excited to have Michael join us in good time for the campaign ahead.
“We have huge ambitions both on and off the pitch, and every discussion we have held with Michael has given us confidence that he not only shares those same goals, but knows what it means to represent Huddersfield Town."
