The health secretary's confirmed the government is working with local authorities on mass community testing for Covid-19.
The government's confirmed mass coronavirus testing will be rolled out in Kirklees before Christmas.
It will join Manchester and Lancashire in getting community testing in December.
Speaking at a coronavirus briefing from Downing Street the Health Secretary said:
"We are now working with over 100 local authorities across England – to help get cases down using community testing.
"This includes Manchester, Kirklees and Lancashire, who are planning to mobilise community-based testing in their areas before Christmas.
"As are Manchester and Kirklees.
"This offer remains available across the UK to be done in partnership with local authorities and devolved administrations.
Matt Hancock has said it follows success Liverpool and Leicester have seen with community testing.
The latest figures (December 10) show the weekly rate of coronavirus per 100,000 people is down in Kirklees to 195.1.
