Man taken to hospital in a critical condition after crash in Shepley
A 45-year-old man suffered serious head injuries
Police are appealing for information after a man was seriously injured, after he collided with a heavy goods vehicle.
It was travelling away from Huddersfield towards Penistone.
Emergency services were called to Holmfirth Road at around 3.20pm yesterday afternoon.
The pedestrian, a 45-year-old man, suffered serious head injuries and was taken to hospital, where he is described as being in a critical condition.
