Man suffers bleed on brain after fight in Leeds
It happened in Merrion Street in the early hours of Tuesday morning
A man has been taken to hospital with a bleed on the brain after a fight broke out in Leeds city centre.
Police said it happened near to Merrion Street at around 04:40am on Tuesday morning, and involved a group of men who had the left Pryzym nightclub.
It's claimed he was "kicked and punched" before being left unconscious.
Officers then found him seriously injured.
The 23-year-old was taken to hospital, where he was treated for a fractured eye socket and cheekbone and a bleed on the brain.
His injuries aren't considered to be life-threatening.
A 25-year-old man has since been arrested in connection with the assault and police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
